Who makes NightEar.
NightEar comes from A Brand New Company, a business in Purmerend, the Netherlands, that builds apps and websites. NightEar is our baby monitor app for two phones. It’s on the App Store and Google Play and free to download.
What we know about you
Unless you email us, nothing. You don’t create an account, and sound and picture go only between your own phones, over your own Wi-Fi. On the App Store and Google Play we state that the app collects no data. It’s set out in our privacy policy. This website uses no cookies and measures nothing either.
How we write our articles
What we write about the app, we check against the app itself. Every feature on this site is in the app, and where iPhone and Android differ, we say so. Outside facts get a source with a link, so you can read what it really says. Every article carries a date. We don’t name other baby monitor brands, and we don’t make up reviews, figures or parents' experiences.
What we aren’t
We make apps; we aren’t doctors. NightEar is not a medical device and does not replace adult supervision. If you have a question about your child’s health or sleep, ask your GP or health visitor. And because we make the app ourselves, our articles aren’t neutral. Read them with that in mind, and check the sources.
